ZONA PERANG (zonaperang.com) – On this day in 1964, the SR-71 Blackbird makes its maiden flight. The Mach 3.3 spy plane could reach altitudes of 85,000 ft(25.900m). A total of 32 are built by Lockheed; the last one is retired in 1999.
