December 29, 1940 – Second Great Fire of London : The Luftwaffe air raids during World War II

ZONA PERANG (zonaperang.com) – On this night in december 29, 1940- the Luftwaffe drops 100,000 incendiary bombs on London triggering what will be remembered as the city’s “Second Great Fire.” Nearly 200 civilians perish in the raid.
