ZONA PERANG (zonaperang.com) – The Battle of Bataan began on January 7, 1942, and continued until April 9, when the USAFFE commander, Major General Edward King, Jr., surrendered to Colonel Mootoo Nakayama of the 14th Japanese Army.
Japanese forces trap an American and Filipino army guarding the Bataan Peninsula. The defenders hold out for 92 days before surrendering. 76,000 of them will become prisoners(Bataan Death March).
